LEGO: Monkey dreams of Banana
This little diorama is my entry into a raffle competition over at Eurobricks. The competition revolves around building a creation that is fruit themed. I would really liked to do something bigger, but I'm still suffering from owning to few bricks.

LEGO Scene: The Warmonger attacks
This is the scene with The Warmonger that I promised to post. It is the second LEGO scene I have created and like the first one it is in the "Imperial revenge" theme. It is depicting a scene from the early stages of the Space Troll invasion. I have keep the scene small and simple because I don't have so many bricks and pieces to use. I'm still working on acquiring an large amount of LEGO pieces.

The scene is not meant to be viewed from more angles than these two. The soldier that is running away has one of those "double face" head, which means that he looks weird when viewed from behind. And the soldier that is caught in the claw does not have a face which fits with the situation. I blame these two faults on my small LEGO collection.
Another Troll Walker: The Warmonger
Another Walker unit from the Space Troll army. This one is bigger than the light weight walker and only equipped for close range combat. It's main purpose is to intimidate and strike fear into the enemy. It is a favorite vehicle amongst the Troll Commanders.

I made this piece for a LEGO scene I had planed in my head, but after I build the walker and started on the scene I realized it did not fit together as planed. I decided to rethink the scene and created an another scene specially made for this piece. I will post pictures of that scene in a later post with some more backstory to the Imperial revenge theme.
Troll Assault Wagon
Another LEGO Space Troll piece. As with the Walker it was also designed in LDD, but the piece below differer slightly from the initial design. The initial turret design was not practical in reality so I had to make minor adjustments to it.

The piece follows the same design principles as the walker. Lots of red parts and not much protection for the crew. The Trolls like to paint their vehicle with red. That's their color of war.
Troll Walker
This is a Troll Walker that belong to the "Imperial revenge" theme I introduced earlier. It was designed with LEGO Digital Designer and built after I received the pieces I needed from the Pick-a-brick store. I very happy with the result. If you can't tell, I decided to play with the brightness/contrast curves to make the pictures look like professional product photos.

The Walker is meant to be a quick light weight vehicle used for scouting. It does not offer much protection to the driver because the Trolls believe shielding one-self is cowardly.
My first LEGO vignette
This is my first little LEGO vignette. I choose to build it because I wanted to introduce a LEGO theme of my own creation. I have named the vignette and the theme with the same name: Imperial revenge.

The visually the theme is inspired by the Warhammer 40k universe. Specifically the Imperial Guard and Space Orc armies. I have though thought up a whole backstory to the theme to make it more unique (Yes, I'm that geeky). As you can see, the theme revolves around the conflict between Humans and Space Trolls. I'll probably reveal more about the back story as I post more pieces in this theme (I have several planed).

I did experiment with the brightness in the pictures to see if I could make them look just like professional product shoots, but decided to keep the pictures a little gray and dull. I think the dullness fits with the overall feeling in photos.

On the human figure I choose to use a head with a smart little grin. I wanted to show that the Humans really hate the Trolls.
Mobile park
My latest LEGO creation, a small mobile park. It is a concept that was inspired by the Mobil pool in a Simpsons episode. At first I only thought about it as a silly thing, but I then though it could have been a part of a dystopian world where people don't have access to green areas. If I had own more bricks, I would have build a gray urban surrounding to place the park in.

LEGO Shaun the Sheep
Setting up Star Wars LEGO diorama and photographing them got me in to building with LEGO again. Below are photos on my first creation I found good enough to post about. It is a LEGO version of Shaun the Sheep. I think my LEGO version is as cute as the claymation Shaun.
